0 Alliance, OH Alliance, OH Part-time Part-time $15 - $20 an hour $15 - $20 an hour In search of Personal Trainers - Minerva Area YMCA and the Alliance Family YMCA Hours Needed Various afternoon and evening availability between 3-9pm Position Summary This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Interacts with new and existing members by providing specific individualized programs designed to meet his/her fitness needs and goals.
Creates a welcoming environment for all members of all backgrounds and abilities.
Rate of Pay $15 - $20/hour Qualifications Four year degree in Exercise Science or related field and/or certification from a nationally recognized accreditation agency.
CPR/AED certifications.
Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.
YMCA/ACE Foundations of Strength & Conditioning within 60 days of hiring.
Responsibilities Maintains well-documented, accurate and pertinent information on each client Follows through in a timely manner on initial communication with client Designs, maintains, and adjusts individual programs specific to the client's needs and wants in accordance with National YMCA guidelines Serves as a good role model by maintaining or improving their own personal fitness level Supports Y programs, promotions, and events Deals with each situation by using the YMCA Character Values Develops and maintains community collaborations Knows and abides by Y policies and procedures Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
